Skilled in the traditional arts of wood carving, gilding, modelling, drawing and letter cutting I welcome all projects – happy to work in any decorative style including producing new and contemporary designs. I consider myself very privileged to have had the opportunity to train as an historic ornamental wood carver at City & Guilds of London Art School, and to become one of the relatively few craftspeople actively sustaining carving heritage.
Wood carving is absolutely a labour of love for me. My passion lies in using traditional techniques, knowing that hand-carved work, whether in replicating for restoration or in creating original pieces, has a quality that no machine can mimic.
Based in London, England in the beautiful Peacock Yard, I always participate in the biannual Open Studios.
